Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, daughters of Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, are said to be scared to cross King Charles amid their parents' downfall.
The York sisters know the monarch will not tolerate a single misstep.
They will not even risk the 77-year-old’s fury with any of their stunt, no matter how shocked they are by his decisions about Andrew.
"They are royals, not fools, very much aware of the fact that the King controls titles, patronages, royal events, and the royal purse as well," an insider has claimed.
Beatrice and Eugenie's father is already banished from royal life over the Epstein scandal.
"Defying him to defend Andrew publicly may be a career suicide. They’re walking a tightrope to keep the family name from sinking further," according to the source.
They added, "Charles is the boss. Harry showed what happens when you defy him."
Some senior royals have always kept a safe distance from the York family.
Recently, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams commented on the relationship between Kate and Eugnie, noting that they attended the same school.
The future Queen has always kept Beatrice and Eugenie at a distance – one that has seemingly only increased after the Epstein scandal, according the expert.
Eugenie, particularly, seems to be 'closer to Harry' than Catherine's husband William, but it appears there may be more to Kate's aversion than the 35-year-old's warm relationship with the Sussexes.
