Meghan Markle is facing criticism yet again over the price of her new herbal tea sold under her As Ever lifestyle brand.

The Duchess of Sussex’s tea costs $12 for a pack of 12 bags and was sold out within minutes of being restocked last week.

However, reports claimed that the ingredients of the tea come from The Republic of Tea, which sells a similar product for about the same price but they give 36 bags instead of 12.

While sources close to Meghan say her blend is different, some critics believe she’s charging extra simply because of her name.

"Customers are paying a considerable increase for Meghan's label,” royal expert Margaret Holder said, per Radar Online.

"She is taking advantage of celebrity branding. But it's a case of Meghan Mark-up, not Meghan Markle,” she added.

This comes after Prince Harry’s wife was accused of “piggybacking” on other successful entrepreneurs’ achievements for her brand As Ever.

It happened when Meghan added Rosé wine to her range of As Ever products with reports claiming she is copying Hollywood stars by launching her own wine brand.

Rosé wines were reportedly first launched by former lovers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Hollywood, followed by stars like Australian singer Kylie Minogue and rock musician Jon Bon Jovi.
