An expert has just issued a reminder to the Royal Family, urging them to follow through with the calls to have Prince Harry stripped of his titles, ranks and privileges.
The whole thing comes from News.com.au's Royal Correspondent, Bronte Coy.
She delivered it during an interview on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show.
It began with Ms Coy siding with the Firm after news of Prince Harry’s olive branch came to light.
For those unversed, this refers to the news that Prince Harry is sending invites requesting the Firm’s attendance at the next Invictus Games.
“I think this is such a difficult one, I've given this one a lot of thought,” she said.
Because among the masses, “there's a lot of sympathy, understanding and respect for the King's and William's position”.
Its pertinent to mention that many Brits have started harboring negative opinions of the Sussexes, as evident by YouGov polls that placed Prince Harry in a 44% disapproval ranking.
In the expert’s eyes, “I think anyone can relate that if you've been spoken about publicly, and had your personal issues with family members aired in that way, of course you would be angry.”
Plus after something like that “of course, you'd be well within your right to shut it down and cut him off because there's no trust,” Ms Coy also noted.
However she did note a flip side to all this, and warned that not to accept the invite would look even worse because while “in the UK and you're talking about the military community of which the royals are very, very, very entwined. You do run the risk of looking a little bit petty if they don't go and support it, given their position in supporting the military community.”
So “I think it's going to particularly complicated and something that is going to be discussed a lot in the palace,” she concluded by saying too.
