Lana Del Rey's UK tour sparks disappointment

Lana Del Rey, an American singer-songwriter, recently announced her new album and for promotions she is returning back on stage after her long stay in Louisiana with alligator wrangler Jeremy Dufrene.

Lana announced her long awaited tour in the UK at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Sunday evening, after staying away from music for quite a long time. 

For those unversed, this was her first major performance in the region and fans were really excited about her return and rushed to buy tickets priced between £78.40 and £420.

However, What’s On Cardiff reported she appeared on stage 20 minutes after her start time, which disappointed her fans and some of them took to twitter saying, “Lana Del Rey played just over an hour set, hid behind a wall for 20 mins, sang the same setlist as the last 3 years, overpriced tickets and is playing covers. Lana babe, i love you but sort it out.”

A second fan even showed their disappointment saying, “Lana Del Rey’s Cardiff show wasn’t even 90 minutes and she was late? Abysmal”

Another fan said, "I saw Lana Del Rey~ she was late for her show. Paid £300 for like 1hr30 show whilst I saw Beyoncé paid less and performed for nearly 3 hours.

To address the delay to her fans, Lana also reacted with her reasons later on, and according to Meto UK said, “hair takes so long to do.”

However, not all her fans blamed the singer, others called out poor management with their complaints saying, “I love Lana, I do but her lack of sense of urgency is so disappointing. Like I’m honestly heartbroken. Pls have better management.”
