Brad Pitt has just opened up about how David Fincher’s directorial movie Se7en has 'reinvigorated' his love for acting.

While appearing on Armchair Podcast, the Hollywood actor candidly recalled the day when he an offer for the movie in 1994, and dubbed it ‘the most unhealthy’ time of his life.

“I would wake up, I would get a bong load, I would have four Coca-Colas on ice, no food,” he began, recalling his routine of that time. “This particular summer, I watched the O.J. trial, and I was just trying to figure out, ‘What do I do next? What do I do next?’”

At that time, the F1 actor received the script of Se7en from his manager. Although the script didn’t capture Pitt’s attention at first, he was onboard for the movie after reading it.

In the 1995’ mystery psychological thriller movie, Pitt portrayed the role of a detective, who is solving a murder mystery that is linked with seven sins.

“My dear friend and manager and, basically my sister now, Cynthia, sends [the ‘Se7en’ script] over,” the 61-year-old actor said.

“She says, ‘You’ve got to read this.’ I read the first seven pages, I call her up, I go, ‘Are you kidding me? The cliché old cop wants out, the young cop comes in and he’s looking at his high school football trophies?’

“She goes, ‘Just finish it.’ Then I go meet with Finch, and he was just talking about films like I’d never heard anyone speak about film. I just got the jones back. Finding that thing kind of… it just reinvigorated what I wanted out of this thing,” Brad Pitt added before signing off.
