Meghan Markle slammed over 'miserable' remarks in Royal Family swipe

Meghan Markle has been slammed over her recent swipe at Royal Family.

Meghan recently appeared on the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast. During the discussion, businesswoman Grede asked the Duchess of Sussex if she’d like another shot at forming her public image and what she’d do if she had the chance.

Meghan replied, “Yes, I would ask people to tell the truth.”

Royal correspondent Kinsey Schofield has savaged the Duchess’ remarks and called it a "bitter, miserable reaction" during a TALKTV discussion.

She said, "...wouldn't it have been a beautiful humble moment had when the the host asked Megan is there anything you would have done differently, had Megan swapped those answers and said absolutely not because I'm in the position I am today because of the mistakes I'd made previously' instead of that bitter miserable reaction which is it's other people's fault..."

During Meghan’s interview, she also shared her take on being a public figure, noting that there are “peaks and valleys” in it.

"You go, ‘What’s the why?’ It’s happening for a reason," the As Ever founder explained.

"My dear friend Serena [Williams]… she told me years ago, ‘A lie can’t live forever. Eight years is a long time, but not forever," the Meghan Markle noted.
