Meghan Markle’s connection to the Royal Family and plans for the future have become a hot topic, leading former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond to break all the ‘irrelavant’ aspects down.
She spoke to The Mirror about all this and referenced Meghan’s podcast appearance on ‘Aspire’ with Emma Grede.
According to Ms Bond, “I imagine they may see a passing headline about Meghan's latest exploits, but I very much doubt that any of them take much notice about what she is doing or saying.”
Because she is someone the Royal Family “knew for a very brief period of time.”
Thus “I don't think Meghan forged a meaningful relationship with any of the royal family – except, obviously, her husband. And so I think she is viewed as irrelevant by most of the family,” the expert explained.
Plus “she is now clearly carving out her own path as an influencer and would-be entrepreneur” and “to be successful in these fields she needs publicity.”
The expert also didn’t end there, but instead attempted to give her honest take about Meghan’s motivations and success trajectory in the future.
In Ms Bond’s eyes, “it's all about clicks and followers - which, in turn, bring money.” And “that's the name of the game. And so she is pumping out as much content as possible.”
And due to that Ms Bond feels “I don’t think there’s even the remotest possibility that she would either want to return to life as a working royal or that she would be welcomed back. She’s making her own way in life, and that’s absolutely fine - good for her.”
Still though “personally I now find it laughable even to consider her as 'royal',” the same expert added as well.
Reason being “hers was but a brief flirtation with a world she knew nothing about and which she very quickly decided she didn’t like.”
Still she wished the former royal well and noted, “I hope she’s hugely successful in her new ventures. She’s working hard, she deserves to do well.”
