Prince Andrew has reportedly received a deadline to leave the Royal Lodge amid dispute with King Charles, who allegedly wants him to vacate the property.
According to new a report, the “disgraced” Duke of York only has three more years at the 30-room mansion as he will not be able to maintain his residency at the Lodge any longer.
Writing for Daily Mail, Ephraim Hardcastle revealed that Andrew can live on the property till 2028 and will have to move afterwards.
Reports have revealed that the monarch has cut off Andrew’s million annual allowance and reduced security funding for his Windsor home.
Charles made the move in order to make Andrew leave the property but he has so far managed to secure private funds and personal savings to remain in the Royal Lodge.
"It appears that Andrew, who paid upwards of £7.5 million on renovations when given a 75-year lease in 2003, has maintained the interior, but there is a rumbling dispute about who is responsible for extensive external repairs to the 30-room mansion,” the expert revealed.
He added, "Andrew should be safe until 2028. He is entitled to a partial rebate on his outgoings if given the order of the boot at the end of his first 25 years of his lease."
