Anne Burell's last words about cooking career before tragic death revealed

Anne Burell was reportedly found dead at her home in Brooklyn, New York on 17th June 2025.

Ahead of the chef’s death, Hello! Magazine spoke with Anne during City Harvest Presents the 2025 Gala: Carnaval's red carpet in April 2025, held in New York City.

During this conversation, she discussed her thriving career and passion with the outlet.

In doing so, she candidly addressed that finding the work that you are passionate about is the key to a happy living.

When asked if "finding your purpose in life leads to happiness," she answered without a second thought, "Absolutely.”

The late star remarked at that time, “I believe that's important for everyone."

Elaborating on why she chose cooking as her career path, Anne shared, "I feel like that picture was from a time before I found myself and before I found my true calling, which is becoming a chef and cooking food and providing joy and happiness for other people."
