Jennifer Garner shows rare glimpse of ex-Ben Affleck's parenting side

Jennifer Garner celebrated Father’s Day with a touching tribute to ex-husband Ben Affleck.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 15, the 53-year-old Hollywood actress paid homage to her ex-spouse with a throwback photograph.

In the picture, the 52-year-old American actor and filmmaker, who shares three children with Garner – 19-year-old Violet, 16-year-old Seraphina, and 13-year-old Samuel – can be seen lying on a couch with one of their three kids peacefully sleeping on his chest.

The Daredevil actress also added a caption to her post that read, “Happy Father’s Day to 3 people’s favorite landing spot.”

For the unversed, Garner and Affleck, who are parents of three children, tied the knot in 2005 and ended their 13-years of marriage in 2018.

Notably, since the couple parted ways, both of them have kept showing reverence for each other.

While conversing with GQ in April this year, Affleck said, "I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well.”

The Accountant star went on to reveal they used to discuss with their children when new stories about them were in magazines.

He quipped, “They would see something on a supermarket stand, we would say, 'Well, you know, this isn’t always true, because if it were, you would have 15 brothers or sisters or whatever the number of stories is where they said that your mom was pregnant.’”

“I know what’s going on in my life. And also, really more importantly, my kids know," Affleck noted.
