Dua Lipa recalls first meeting with fiance Callum Turner

Dua Lipa has opened up about the early days of dating her now-fiance Callum Turner.

Lipa, who confirmed her engagement to Turner in an interview with British magazine, shared how she met the actor.

The Training Season hitmaker revealed during the same interview that she met Turner at The River Cafe in London while having dinner with her father.

She said, "There’s a lot of Sliding Doors moments," adding, "we have so many friends in common."

A year later when Lipa was introduced to Turner, she recalled thinking, "Oh, it’s that really hot guy from The River Cafe."

Moreover, Lipa revealed that Turner asked her about the book she was reading at the time and which surprisingly was the same book the actor was reading, adding of Hernan Diaz’s novel Trust.

She shared that in that moment it felt like they were destined to be together, saying, "One thousand per cent."

Speaking about her engagement to Callum Turner, Dua Lipa said, "It’s very exciting."

"I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well," the Houdini singer added of the ring.
