Prince Harry on Friday expressed his willingness to have a reconciliation with the royal family.

In an interview with the BBC, the Duke of Sussex mentioned his father, King Charles but avoided naming his eldest brother, Prince William as he discussed his legal defeat in a UK court.

Harry lost his legal challenge on Friday to Britain changing his security arrangements after he stepped down from royal duties.

Explaining why he now wants a reconciliation, he was of the view reconciliation can't come without truth and since he has found his "truth" he sees no point in continuing his dispute anymore.

He seemed to hold his father responsible and suspected the monarch's role in his legal defeat as he expressed disappointment that he and children won't be able to visit the UK after the court's verdict against him.

Although the youngest son of King Charles clearly said that he sees no point in continuing his dispute with the royal family, his words and tone suggested that he doubts his father and brother would forgive him.

The husband of Meghan Markle even mentioned the reason his family wouldn't want reconciliation with him: "Spare", his book which targeted the royal family and put them in a bad light.

Given the tensions between Prince Harry and Prince William, it's unclear if reconciliation will be possible.

One can expect King Charles to embrace his son despite whatever happened between them for he is Harry's father, the mistrust between the brothers runs too deep to allow William to bury the hatchet with the US-based Prince any time sooner.
